Our family day last Sunday, kicked off with our kids races; sprints, sack races and egg and spoon. The Mammy’s and Daddy’s races brought out our competitive sides and these were definitely a highlight! Well done to the sports day organisers. 

Thanks to our hard working juvenile committee who made the hurling tournament as popular as ever. To our hardworking crew in the bbq; Padraig, Hannah, Jane and Colum and to to Elaine, Lily and Cormac in the shop. To our bakers, Helen and Mike for their hard work prepping the pitch and everyone else who contributed.

Thanks to the future stars of Cappataggle, Sarsfields, Meelick Eyrecourt, Tommy Larkin’s, Mullagh Kiltormer, Leitrim Kilnadeema, Ballinasloe and Tynagh Abbey Duniry.

Well done to Sarsfields on a fantastic performance to win the Cup and to our own stars of Cappataggle u12’s for winning the shield.
